Port Information for Okinawa Japan

The Port for Okinawa is pretty much in town. You can easily walk from the Port to the shopping areas. It is about six blocks to the shopping area, once you are out of the port gates. Okinawa looks a bit run down when you initially leave the port area, but it cleans up once you get into the nicer part of town. Okinawa is safe, but can feel gritty and humid, depending on the weather. I didn't particularly like Okinawa, but that was just personal taste, you may love it.
