Flowers around the world - Java, Indonesia

Saturday, March 13, 2010

Before I begin my posts on my trips around Indonesia, I thought I'd continue my "Flowers around the World" theme. I like to photograph the plants and flowers when I travel, so here is a beautiful flower I saw in the countryside of Java. I was notified by a nice reader that this flower is a "Plumeria".

I think it's called plumerias, usually planted around cemeteries. Where are you in Java?

Thank you! I am in the states right now. I am catching up on writing about the trip. I have many months worth of work to do. :-) I took the photo about an hour outside of Borobudur.
